She Put Love and Craziness in Everything that She Did

gema belmonte

Gema Belmonte: She talked to us a lot about Our Lady and how much Our Lady loved us.

In one of the Home of the Mother Summer Camps, Gema Belmonte was fortunate to have Sr. Clare as her group leader. She has sent in a charming picture that shows Sr. Clare and all the girls on the team putting their heads through the holes in a mural that they painted as a team. Gema tells us what she remembers from this summer camp.

Hello! I would like to share something with you all about Sr. Clare.

I was little when she was my group leader in summer camp and disgracefully, I don’t remember a whole lot. But what I do remember is the joy that she did everything with. She put love and craziness in everything that she did. She was always singing and playing around. I remember that our team put on a play with her.

I also remember that she talked to us a lot about Our Lady and how much Our Lady loved us. Sr. Clare had a special something in her smile. She conveyed so many things to us, even when she wasn’t speaking.

Attached is a picture of a mural that our team made during that summer camp.
