In the EWTN Mass on 6/30/2020

Sr. Clare visiting a patient

Fr. Joseph began his reflection by speaking about Sister Clare's apostolate in the hospital in Valencia. He spoke of the story of Paco, a patient who was dying of AIDS, whom Sister Clare led to a beautiful friendship with the Eucharistic Jesus by telling him about her own conversion and many stories of her family.

EWTN is probably the most important Catholic television network in the world. Each day it broadcasts the Mass celebrated by Fr. Joseph Mary M.F.V.A. In his homily on June 30, 2020, Fr.

Fr. Joseph recalled that Paco was dying without hope until Sister Clare got him to go to confession. From that moment on, Paco underwent a real transformation: he received Holy Communion every day and did not even want to watch television, saying that it took away his time for prayer.

The homily concluded by showing that Paco drew strength from Holy Communion because it "gave him life" and Fr. Joseph encouraged his listeners to follow this example.
