Zélie is a magazine published in France and presented as 100% feminine and 100% Christian. In its 48th issue, January 2020, Zélie published an article titled, “Clare Crockett, or the Search for the Absolute,” by Fr. Vincent Pinilla. This priest, member of the Fraternity of St. Thomas Beckett, wrote an entire review about Sr. Clare after watching her documentary, All or Nothing, which recently came out in French.
For Fr. Pinilla, Sr. Clare is “a huge testimony for the 21st century.” He does not doubt to affirm, “She is a very contemporary answer to the challenges we must face today, especially among the youth.” He also states, “The Lord could have permitted such a short life for her because Clare did not need more time to reach the heights of the spiritual life. You can also think that her death allowed news of her to be spread quickly.” He concludes the article with an appropriate invitation: “If not everyone can imitate Sr. Clare’s voice, how she plays the guitar or her acting skills, her thirst for the absolute can become ours. Do not hesitate to copy one of her prayers to put on your desk. It is a good way to start the year 2020!”
