A year ago Sr. Clare was invited to partake in the exposition “Young Witness of the Faith, the Saints Next Door.”
It is a traveling exposition, promoted by the Don Zilli Association and the Saint Paul Cultural Center, with the communicative support of the Saint Paul publishing group, whose target was to exhibit the joyful example of twenty-four young people, enthusiastic for Christ. This was launched shortly after Pope Francis published the Apostolic Exhortation Gaudete et Exsultate, where the Holy Father affirmed: “Yet with this Exhortation I would like to insist primarily on the call to holiness that the Lord addresses to each of us, the call that he also addresses, personally, to you: ‘Be holy, for I am holy.’”
A year later, the exhibition continues to travel throughout Italy and reminds everyone that sees it that the Lord expects fruits of love, faith, and hope as well.
On March 5, 2019, the Archdiocese of Milan’s Youtube Channel published an interview with Gerolamo Fazzini, promoter of the exhibition, in which the Italian journalist made a very positive assessment of the results of this initiative.
To the difficult question, "Which exhibition most impressed you?" Fazzini responded, "Two of them: Giulio Rocca, Volunteer for Operation Mato Grosso, and Sr. Clare Crockett, who he defined in the panel text: “Clare Crockett: actress to Sister, seduced by Christ.”
We hope the exhibition “Young Witness of the Faith, the Saints Next Door” continues its journey around Italy for a long time and crosses the border to travel the entire world. It has been rightly said that today’s world doesn’t need preachers, it needs witnesses. In this exhibition we already have twenty-four.
