Supergesto Magazine (Pontifical Mission Societies) - September-October 2016

Supergesto is a Spanish magazine directed to teenagers and youg people who have missionary interests. It is a publication that belongs to the Pontifical Missions Societies, an institution in the Church, which depends on the Congregation for the Evangelization of the Peoples. It was born with the objective to support missionary activity in non-Christian regions and environments. In number 126, Septermber-October 2016, the magazine of the Pontifical Missions Societies speaks of the impact that Sr. Clare’s death has had on the whole world.

Sr. Clare Crockett. On April 16, 2016, a strong earthquake took place in the region of Manabi, Ecuador, where the Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother have a community. The house fell down, killing Sr. Clare Crockett and five young women – Jazmina, Mayra, Maria Augusta, Valeria, and Catalina - who were at the beginning stages of their formation as Servant Sisters. Sr. Clare’s death has had a great impact on all those who knew her. They have not hesitated to show their admiration at the testimony of her death on a webpage.
