I Am Praying to Sister Clare for Katie

Katie Branson

Michelle Branson, USA My daughter Katie suffered an anoxic brain injury at age 10. I am praying to Sister Clare to please intercede for me before Our Lord, that Katie will talk again.

Ever since Michelle Branson discovered Sr. Clare, she has entrusted her 16-year-old daughter, Katie, to her. Katie suffered a brain injury when she was ten. We unite in prayer with Michelle, and ask the Lord to bless her whole family.

I received Sister Clare's prayer card in the mail. She struck me as a beautiful soul.

Katie Branson and Family

My 16-year-old daughter Catherine, "Katie," suffered an anoxic brain injury at age 10. She is still with us, thanks be to God, but she cannot walk, talk, eat by mouth very much, or move well.

My Katie was always a special child. Katie was never known to have said a bad word about anyone, even when other children treated her badly. She sang all the time and wrote about God in her diary... Katie was always singing in and out of Church about God. Often at Mass, Katie will cry when we are singing because she loved so much to sing. The doctor said there is no reason for her not to talk. Her vocal chords are good, but she stopped talking soon after she began her recovery due to a traumatic barium test.

I am praying to Sister Clare to please intercede for me before Our Lord, that Katie will talk again. Katie wanted to be a nun when she grew up. I see Katie in Sister Clare's beautiful smile, for Katie was always smiling.
