I remember one day I did something that God was asking of me and I told Sister Clare about it. I told her that it was like taking a weight off my shoulders. She added, “Isn’t it true that there's nothing better than doing God’s Will?”
Another anecdote that I remember is that, at the Holy Week Encounter this year, at the table I was sitting at during lunch, we were talking about marriage. Sister Clare was also sitting at that table and said that, even though marriage is something good for the people who have that vocation, to her it seemed like something so small to marry a man. For her, the greatest thing was to “marry” God.
Sister Clare lived for God and always transmitted that.
