My name is Luis, I am 21 and from Argentina. I belong to my church youth group and help out with catechesis. I recall several times being on YouTube stumbling upon the documentary about Sr. Clare, but it never caught my attention until June 5, 2019, the day I met my great friend. That is what I like to call my dear Sr. Clare.
That day wasn’t going so well. My heart was elsewhere and not in God. I remember I felt like watching a movie and I saw All or Nothing under suggested videos. In my heart I felt that I had to watch it. I clicked on it thinking that it was going to be boring and that I wouldn’t watch the whole thing. But the truth is that I couldn’t stop watching it. It was so moving that I even cried.
Like I said earlier, that day my heart was not set on God. But through that documentary, Sr. Clare touched my heart and made me turn back to Him to the point that the next day I woke up early to go to Confession. Since that day, Sr. Clare became my friend. She taught me to live like a true Christian: to wear a smile and irradiate the joy we have knowing that Christ loves us. His love impels us to give our all for others.
Today I can say that Sr. Clare is my friend and companion.
Thank you for sharing about Sr. Clare’s life! United in Christ and Mary.
