Sr. Reme is from Toledo, Spain. She is one of the first three sisters who started the Servant Sisters and is currently the Mistress of Novices.
During December of 2013, I accompanied Father Rafael on his visit to our communities in Ecuador. Father directed Spiritual Exercises for a group of girls of the Home, and Jazmina was one of them. I helped out in the kitchen and Jazmina asked me if we could talk. She told me little bit about her fears and struggles. I encouraged her not to be afraid. I remember that we took a few pictures together. Not long after returning to Spain, she wrote to me. I was happy to hear that she wasn’t so afraid any more. In fact, she entered as a Candidate less than a year later. Here’s the e-mail she sent me in January of 2014.

Hi!
I hope that you are doing well. Well, I hope that you remember who I am! Ha, ha, ha, ha!
I’m the girl that Father said was the “scaredy cat!” Ha, ha, ha!
Well, I’m not so afraid any more…at least I think so.
Say hello to Mother and the novices.
Sr. Reme, please pray a lot for me so that I can stop being so vain and can detach myself from the things that keep me far from GOD.
Be good
May God bless you always
Jazmina
