Sr. Reme, please pray a lot for me so that I can stop being so vain and can detach myself from the things that keep me far from GOD.Sr. Reme is from Toledo, Spain. She is one of the first three sisters who started the Servant Sisters and is currently the Mistress of Novices.
During December of 2013, I accompanied Father Rafael on his visit to our communities in Ecuador. Father directed Spiritual Exercises for a group of girls of the Home, and Jazmina was one of them. I helped out in the kitchen and Jazmina asked me if we could talk. She told me little bit about her fears and struggles. I encouraged her not to be afraid. I remember that we took a few pictures together. Not long after returning to Spain, she wrote to me. I was happy to hear that she wasn’t so afraid any more. In fact, she entered as a Candidate less than a year later. Here’s the e-mail she sent me in January of 2014.
