I am Br. Juan Diego of Jesus, of the Dominican order in Argentina. Sr. Clare is blessing my life. Every day I get to know her more. I have taken her as my heavenly godmother.
I met Sr. Clare on April 16, 2017, Easter Sunday, the day of Our Lord Jesus Christ’s resurrection. At that moment, I felt as if an earthquake took place in my soul, and I began to change more and more. I have always been in love with God, and I continue being so, but Sr. Clare made me see that I shouldn’t look only at the Lord, but rather embrace Him in our poor and sick brethren.
I give food to those who live on the street and go to the Ramo Mejía Hospital to visit the sick. I also go to the small Cottolengo of Don Orione where, together others, we help the residents change clothes, give them snacks and their dinner, and then we help them to go to bed. They are all special people in wheelchairs. Sr. Clare gave me the strength to donate platelets for the children with leukemia every month, and also to pray for the souls in purgatory. I want my life to be like Sr. Clare’s: all or nothing. I want everything to be for my Lord and nothing for me; everything for my brethren and nothing for me here in this world.
Thank you, Sr. Clare, for helping me transform my life in love for Jesus. You are like my little angel. Every act of service towards my brethren makes me remember Jesus, Mary, and you, the faithful servant of God. Your life is an example of humility. You are like my soul sister, a sister to this poor brother, made out of clay. Thank you, Sr. Clare, my heavenly godmother.
