Celia Castro: I told Sr. Clare, “If you intercede for him and he gets better, I promise to write your congregation to tell them about your achievement.”
Two months ago, I was in bed and turned the TV on. I never use YouTube and I don’t know what button I pressed, but it opened and the documentary about Sr. Clare popped up. I thought it was strange and turned it off. I left, and after a while I went back to my room. I turned the TV back on and it popped up again. So I said to myself, “I’m going to see what it’s about.” As I watched it, I felt something very strange. I can’t explain it. I didn’t know about her existence or her congregation and even so, I even cried and have not stopped praying for her.
Today I want to share that in July, a priest from Panama, Fr. Julio Lau, was sick with COVID-19. I don’t know him. I found out through a mutual priest friend. I remembered Sr. Clare immediately and said in my prayers, “If you intercede for him and he gets better, I promise to write your congregation to tell them about your achievement.” This priest was already in the intensive care unit and intubated because he was in critical condition. A few days ago they removed the breathing tubes and yesterday he left the hospital. I have no doubt about Sr. Clare’s intercession.
May God pour endless blessings upon all of you. May the Blessed Virgin Mary protect and encourage you, and may the Holy Spirit be your guide and teacher.
