I met Sr. Clare in Guayaquil, Ecuador, through a friend named Maria Fernanda Araujo, who is now a sister in the Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother.
At that time, I was in the group “Gethsemane.” They invited us to a talk for women. Sr. Clare was there with some other sisters.
They asked us about what we wanted to specialize in and how it might be pleasing to God. When they asked me, I told them that I was studying to be a fashion designer. Sr. Clare told me: “That’s beautiful! You have to make modest designs so that girls dress well and please God. You have a very great mission.”
I have been left with these words of Sister, and that she did everything with a smile on her face.
