Mayra was my camp counselor in my first summer camp with the Home of the Mother in Manta, Ecuador. She was very special, very good, and really gave herself. The truth is that I was amazed by her surrender to the Lord. She was sure about her vocation and she loved it. She communicated the love of God through her life.
She helped me to have a good experience in my first summer camp. She told me to open my heart to the will of God. She told me that my words to the Lord weren’t the most important. I had to dedicate myself to listen to Him and to love Him.
Mayra and Jazmina were the first girls I met when I came to the Home of the Mother. I said hello to them and I got along well with them. When I saw them for the first time, it was as if I had known them forever.
I have such fond memories of them!
