I met Jazmina at the same time that I met the Home of the Mother. She was so joyful. She was always in the sisters' house helping them in any way she could. She was very welcoming and was always encouraging the new girls in the group. She also had a great gift of getting to know each of the girls in the group. If she ever had to correct us, she always did it firmly but with much love.
Jazmina was a very decisive girl. Before she entered as a candidate she was reading a book about Our Lady that helped her respond to her vocation. She always told us about what she had read. When she decided to respond to her vocation, she did so in a radical way.
A week before the earthquake, I went with her to Playa Prieta. She told me that she could never deny that the Lord had called her to be a Servant Sister of the Home of the Mother, and that she would never leave the institution unless she got kicked out. That day she went to confession.
