We Will Be Eternally Happy

jazmina sobrino

Live loving, love suffering, suffer in silence and always with a smile.

One of Jazmina’s friends shares a letter with us that Jazmina wrote her some time ago. It continues to help her each time she reads it. In her words: “Each time I read it, I feel that God is asking me for more love again.” Hopefully, the same thing will happen to us.

I want to share a letter that Jazmina wrote me a while before she entered as a candidate of the Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother. It helped me a lot, and each time I read it, I feel that God is asking me for more love again. I am sending you this letter and hope that it will help you as much as it helped me.

Dear friend,

I hope that you are doing well. Greetings from all the candidates and also from Mayra.

Be holy and remember: “Live loving, love suffering, suffer in silence and always with a smile.” He is worth it. He is worth everything: our youth, our patience, but most of all our love. To love means more, it implies a self-giving for the One who gave Himself up for you.

Take courage! Think that everything that you give is nothing as long as you reach Heaven to be with the One who has chosen us. If we give Him everything that He asks of us, we will be eternally happy.

I have many memories of you that make me think that I am still present in your heart. Pray, pray a lot. When I say “pray,” I mean it. Only the Lord knows what is in our hearts and what we need.

Nothing else. Be faithful until the end.

Love hurts and it hurts until we die. Don’t ever forget that I care about you and that you are present in my life.

Be holy!

Love,
Jazmina
