I want to tell you the memories I have of Catalina.
Remembering Catalina is like flying to a place where sadness does not exist. She was a very, very joyful girl. She was always smiling.
Catalina always gave me good advice. One advice she gave me was, “Never distance yourself from the Home of the Mother. Our Lady loves you and does not want you to distance yourself from Her or from Her Son.”
I would always say to her, “Cata, are you going to the next summer camp?” And she would always say to me in reply, “Of course I am going to summer camp and to Holy Week!”
Whenever Catalina was laughing, singing, dancing, or praying, you knew she was doing it all with a lot of love and a lot of joy.
When I found out that Catalina had died, I became very nostalgic. She was such a supportive and happy girl. She was also a good friend of mine and of my aunt, Gema Vergara.
