She Always Had Her Rosary in Hand

Karolina Vera, Ecuador:

karolina veraFor Catalina, the most important things of each day were the rosary, Mass, and prayer time.

Karolina Vera is from Playa Prieta (Manabí), Ecuador. She was a student in Sacred Family School in Playa Prieta, run by the sisters. She knew Sr. Clare y and candidates very well.

I remember always seeing her with her rosary in hand. She wasn’t ashamed to go out on the streets with her rosary showing. This fact really struck me. She always encouraged me to pray the rosary with her. For Catalina, the most important things of each day were the rosary, Mass, and prayer time. I saw how she fell in love with God. It was incredible. In Playa Prieta, everyone knew her and respected her, because she was a very hardworking girl that didn’t mind getting dirty while she was working. She was always smiling.
