Catalina’s willingness to serve others stood out in her. She always looked out for others. At meals she would always get up and see if anything was missing on the table. When it was time to help out she was always the first to be there. She was in good shape and was very athletic. She was good at that. When we would play soccer she was fast as lighting with the ball. She was also very disciplined when it came to sports. She applied this to her spiritual life and always tried to do things better and in the best way. It was difficult for her, but she would do everything out of love. She was a very joyful girl. I remember that on my birthday she took a bag, filled it with candy, and started to sing the “Piñata” song. She started to name all the girls and when she finally got to my name, she threw all the candy into the air. She would always make us laugh with her funny faces and remarks.
