This image is very special for me, and it represents a lot. It is the handkerchief from my first summer camp with the Home of the Mother, in 2015, where I had the huge blessing that Catalina was my team leader. Since I was of a different religion, she helped me a lot. I always asked a ton of things, and she responded to what she could, and what she couldn’t, she just asked the sisters.
On the handkerchief, she wrote: “Catalina with a C. Thank you for your attention and care. Fight for your ideals! May God’s plans for you also be your plans.”
She wrote "Catalina with a C" because, on the first day of camp, we were in a team meeting and the topic was, “Mary, Mystical Rose.” Since I didn’t believe in the Virgin Mary, I didn’t want to listen to anything about the topic, and so—in the middle of the talk—I asked her, “Do you write Catalina with a K or with a C?” She smiled at me and said, “With a C.” I remember that her attitude surprised me so much. I thought that I would make her mad for having interrupted her and for changing the subject. From that moment on, the subject caught my attention, and during the entire summer camp, I always waited for the sunset so that the moment for the team meetings would arrive, because Catalina had an impressive way of explaining the topics while answering my doubts.
